This project is the definition of a design build project. Working with a house that was last updated in the 70’s, we had to develop the design with the clients, one step at a time while we worked through each space. The unusual layout of the home provided tricky design conditions while attempting to tie everything together. The older bones of this home required some tough engineering by HBI Vermont, and a LOT of floor leveling. The end result of patience, communication, and some outside of the box thinking left the clients with a bright, elegant, and cohesive home that blends the beautiful interior with the naturally beautiful views of lake champlain and beachfront access.
